The Miches Sea Turtle Monitoring and Protection Program operates thanks to the work of its operational team, board of directors, advisory board and guardians of the MAR.
OPERATIONAL TEAM
Protortuga’s operational team is composed of a group of professionals and volunteers dedicated to the execution of the sea turtle conservation program and all administrative and technical processes derived from the work plans approved by the Board of Directors.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Protortuga’s board of directors is the organization’s governing and decision-making body, responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the program and ensuring its funding. This board is composed of companies whose operations directly impact the sea turtle nesting process in Miches and Lavacama, and who have demonstrated a genuine sensitivity and concern for guaranteeing the conservation of the species and its nesting areas.
